Are you ready to make a deal with the devil ?

” On his way back home, with his violin on his back, the soldier, Joseph, meets a mysterious butterfly catcher who proposes a strange barter; to trade the violin for a magic book that predicts the future. Charmed, the soldier accepts”.

The soldier’s tale will be told by William Mesguich, who will take alternately the role of the reader, the solider and the devil. L’Orchestre de Chambre Nouvelle Europe, conducted by Nicolas Krauze, will accompany William Mesguich thanks to Stravinsky music.

The Soldier’s tale composed in 1917, one hundred years ago, is based on the Charles-Ferdiant Ramuz text.
The 14th March, there will be two scholars concerts and one concert for all audiences at 8.00 p.m at Sablons Theater to Neuilly-sur-Seine.
